This is the 1911 a first-time buyer should be handed. Nickel finish over a full-size, all-steel build - real steel frame, real steel slide - priced where a working shooter can actually reach it.
The rule on this gun was simple: give it the features people upgrade to, and do not charge for them twice. So it ships with a Picatinny rail for a light or laser and an optic-cut slide on the RMSc footprint, ready for a red dot out of the box.
Skeletonized curved trigger, grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety. It is an easy first 1911 and an easy second one.
