ABOUT THIS FIREARM
The 1911 SPORT is the performance build of the platform. A flared magwell funnels reloads in fast, and a compensator on the barrel keeps the sights flat through a string instead of climbing off target between shots.
The slide is cut for an RMSc-footprint red dot, and a Picatinny rail runs under the barrel for a light or a laser. At roughly 44 ounces it is a heavier gun than the base 1911, and that mass is doing work - it settles the gun down under recoil and holds it steady between shots.
Full-size, all-steel frame and slide, with a curved trigger, grip safety, and ambidextrous thumb safety. This is the one for the customer who shoots on a timer.
